Fantastic!
Totally reminds me of my childhood! I love your smooth movements and the backgrounds were especially good. Did you draw them in Flash or use a different program like Photoshop? Regardless they look fantastic! Keep up the good work man!

You too man great work. The voice actors were fantastic, really sold the story and your motions are always always consistent. How do you work so fast?!
I threw them in another program. Photoshop was bit too heavy so had to resort to something else.
Awesome!
As per usual with you! Keep up the phenomenal work man!
Great job Jake!
Nice shifting perspectives and awesome imagery! Hope to face off against you in the later rounds man!
Definitely Awesome, but...
Don't sell yourself short with the credits! By that I mean don't say "Forced to use Lyrics" and stuff like that. You definitely have something here, make sure you act professional about it. I was engaged the entire ride through, then I saw that in the credits and went "Oh, well if it was just for an assignment then oh well!". It actually was almost comedic thanks to that, which completely took me out of the mood. You did a great job, don't spoil it with the credits! :)
Good Old School Rangers!
Yes! As well as great action based animation! My only criticism is the ending pose. To me it looked like you wanted her to separate her hands to disapate her bow, and while I got that, I think you could have maybe slowed down the animation by adding more in betweens or slowed the camera zoom so that the audience can see it a little better. Even that is just a minor criticism because that all looked fantastic. Cant wait to see more, do the Blue Ranger next! He was always my favorite! (Mostly because he was blue... not because he was a huge nerd...)
Gahhh I wish there was more!
This is fantastic! Great animation and I love the art style, I just wish you were able to add more on to it as it doesn't seem like its finished. Great job! I hope to compete against you in the coming rounds!
ha! that's a scary thought
This is great!
Nice detail and animation. This isnt entirely Flash is it? Did you use After Effects and Photoshop as well? Whatever youre doing youre doing right, so keep it up! Also, I enjoyed the story thanks to its twists and turns. One minute its a comedy, then its a horror story, then its a love story, then its a comedy again. It all worked rather well together. The ending MAY have been a far cry from the rest of the short, but it was funny and overall leaves a great aftertaste in your mouth. Keep up the good work!
Yeah I did most of the backgrounds in Corel Painter, but the animation and everything else is all Flash. I only used Vegas to comp the video, but I didn't add any effects or anything in post. FLASH POWAR! etc etc
Fantastic!
I think you captured the feel very well with this! Reminds me of the old Pink Panther openings vaguely. One suggestion I have is that one of the titles slips passed me (when the characters are running down the stairs in the very beginning, Joshua Tomar's name) because I'm watching the characters instead of the names. This isn't a HUGE deal (obviously I'm still giving you a 10) but something you may want to look in to. Hell, I may be the only one who missed it! Just tossing it out there. Great job!
Really fun!
I enjoyed it a lot, definitely like the way you draw your characters and the details on the backgrounds. One small suggestion I have is to work on your lip syncing. It wasn't bad or anything in this, but occasionally you had "flapping gums". Otherwise fantastic!
Agreed!
Always been a big fan Harry. I definitely agree with the point you're making. I didn't go through 4 years of College to get a Traditional Animation major, just so I can go on some website and pump out something that looks like crap in 5 minutes. I went to College to make my imagination come alive on paper (and now on a computer screen as well). And you know what, were GOOD because of this.
So keep on rocking, viva la resistance!
