So I figure I may announce this here and now so that no one is surprised in the future. Scaredy Dave wont ALWAYS be told in the style of an Animated Show. Its going to be in a number of different formats. So far, yes, Episodes 1 through 4 will be an animated show, however Episode 5 is planned on being an ACTUAL Game! One that you'll be able to play yourself! I'm using RPG Maker VX Ace and a whole bunch of mods to make it look and feel more attune to what the show looks like (no 8 Bit, more than 4 frames of animation. It will look and feel like the show.). Some episodes may be told in the style of a Motion Comic. In the future I would like episodes to be longer, so some episodes may be a mixture of both Motion Comic AND animation (so that talking sequences can be longer in Motion Comic form and Action Sequences can get the full animation attention they deserve). Basically, its gonna be interesting, but you'll be able to experience all of it on Youtube (and Newgrounds so long as I can get the game on there).

Great episode, though you might want to include subtitles for the rabbit... How's the game software treating you, will you be able to import animations okay? You're certainly approaching your craft in a rock solid manner, and I wish you much success!

So far, theoretically, it should do everything I want. If it doesn't right out the gate, it will with scripts other users have made free to download. I used to play with RPG Maker 2000 on my computer a WAY long time ago, so this one being 14 years newer and me 14 years wiser shouldn't be too hard to figure out. I've seen people import a bunch of really nice animations into the game, and I believe Flash gives you the option to export a sprite sheet, so hopefully this should work out nice. Id like to be able to make it so Dave can walk in all 8 directions, but 4 will suffice worse case scenario (I know you CAN make it 8, just have to figure out how I can do that haha.)
I fiddle with it here and there right now, but for now I still have to finish Episode 3 and 4, which are both fully written. Episode 3 should be very entertaining, Episode 4 should actually be slightly scary actually! Haha. Hopefully I can export the game in such capacity so that I can upload it on Newgrounds, if not, you can play it on Steam I believe? Seemed like there was a feature to upload it to Steam? Not sure... You'll be able to play it somehow haha and if not, the Youtube Channel will have a full playthrough of it (because that will be the episode).
